Finished in time for the holidays. I wondered how my assassins would spend Christmas and this is the result.
Tools required: Photoshop CS, many, many hours of frustration and muscle pains and Jane Monheit's and Tori Amos's versions of "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas" on near-constant repeat on WinAmp.
I tried to display some unique aspect of each of the assassins' personalities in the pictures.
Edmund is easily characterized by his punctuality. He's never seen without his gold watch, except here where it's hidden inside his pocket. I imagine that even when he's relaxing he frequently glances at the clock on his window to keep track of time in order to be sure he's not wasting it.
Daniel is the poison expert and although he's much less strict on himself than Edmund, he still has some potions brewing on the table on the foreground.
Jacob's symbol is the dagger as he's good at close combat. I wanted something to symbolize that in his portrait, so ironically he's getting fake-stabbed with a wooden sword by one of his grandchildren. There's something slightly poignant about that; Jacob is, after all, the oldest of the assassins and probably closer to death than his two younger colleagues...

I hope you're working on more pieces with them.
Combined with the high quality of artwork, I'd safely say that this image appears to be a single frame (or three to be precise) of a first class animation, You'd expect them to start moving anytime now
Thank you for the comments, it's always the best compliment to hear my work has inspired someone else.
Eheheh... Any chance of Edmund/Daniel slash? ;D
As for Edmund/Daniel slash: bwahah! They've only been around for about a month, cut them some slack. XD I think at the very least they first need to work around the issue of trying to murder each other all the time...
