this is kinda sorta how me and my dance partner met. we are hip hop dancers. i was at one of my friends dance raves. our raves are a little different though. ours is around a huge bon fire in a clearing in the middle of the woods. its like a safe haven too us. the one place where we can be ourselves.
well any way i was always a lone dancer. i am a damn good one to. there was no one that could dance in sync with me. so one night at our secret raves the fire was lit at the stereo pumping beats.we were all dancing in our hip hop ways. when suddenly the new guy, jack, comes up to me and says
"ive seen you dancin. you like making scenes?" i answer "i love making scenes" so he says "well why dont we try a routine"together" i think for a second while my friend goes "are you crazy! no one can dance sync with the dragon!" oh they call me the dragon for two reasons. my dance skills and my special routine ends with me with a mouth full of liquor blowing it past a lit lighter making it look like i breath fire. he says to me "ive seen your routine. think i could maybe sync in." i nodded. i got up and me and him walked to the clearing by the fire. everyone cleared out because they know this was my signiture routine. but they saw the new comer, jack, come with me and were surprised. so they got a second bottle of liquor ready for jack. jack took off his shirt. he had abs! okay he was pretty hot with black hair blue eyes. i cued for the guy to turn the music on, disturbia by rihanna. and we started. i was so surprised! he was in exact sync with me! it felt thrilling! like he knew exactly what i was going to next and matched up to me. with every swivel pop and lock and swish he was spot. on. and at the end the end of the song they threw a bottle to jack from one side and one to me from the other side and while spun towards each other we took a swig and threw the bottles away from us. i was changeing the ending, fitting it it for partners. somehow he new what i was doing. so we twirled towards each other, mouths full of liquor, and took the lighters out of our pockets in mid spin and stopped. my hand was on his shoulder and his arm was twisted around mine and hand was on my shoulder. our legs were crossed together and we were leaning away from each other. without the other we would have fell. but in all in one swift movement we lit the lighters and blew the fire away from each other and up. everyone applauded. we are now partners.
