Re: Batman preferring to work alone - let's just say this was before he took on any of the other Robins and pre-Justice League, shall we? Either that or an alternate universe, your call.

Somehow, I'm quite pleased with Robin in the last panel. It strikes me as one of the best I've drawn of him up to date.

In the comics, Robin eventually gets sick of being Batman's sidekick (they also disagree on some of his methods) and goes on to become the leader of his own team, the Titans. Their differences are what also eventually leads into Robin becoming Nightwing.

Tell him Robin. Batman deserves a tiny- no, medium-sized slapp in the face. A big slap would just be me wanting to tell him off >;D It's not that I hate Batman, it's just, if he's gonna trust Robin, and Robin trusts his friends, then Batman should trust the Teen Titans. :D Aweseome comic

Just because he has a sidekick or a JLA membership doesn't mean he favors teamwork over going solo. The additional purpose of Robin is for Batman to train another crimefighter to follow in his footsteps, or be a hero when he can't be there. Also, if Batman hadn't accepted him, it's possible Dick could've tried to follow him anyway and just get himself hurt. At least as partners, Bruce could better keep an eye on him and keep him safe.

lol hes still as Stubborn as before to work alone lol maybe thats why Robin ditched him, lol n you figure if Slade is gonna go Global to underestimate that the Titans arent the only Global force out there that will try n stop him >>; lol were probably talking about 1000+ heroes of all kinds to rise from the darkness they hide just to go kick his tight lil ass X3
